EXCELLENT CHARGE – DISCHARGE CHARACTERISTICS
The charge / discharge characteristics of used cells are affected by current, time and temperature. Cells should be charged at a temperature ranging from 0°C to 40°C, using a constant current of 1C or less. The charge efficency is particularly good at a temperature of 10°C to 30°C.
The discharge characteristics of cells are also affected by current, time and temperature. The discharge voltage characteristics are flat at 1.2V. The discharge voltage and efficiency decrease proportionally as the current rises or temperature drops. The cells that we use for Power Tool battery pack production have the best charge / discharge characteristics.
CYCLE LIFE CHARACTERISTICS
The Cycle Life of these cells under proper conditons of use can be charged and discharged for more than 500 cycles. Significantly reduced service time in spite of proper charging means that the life of the cells has been exceeded. At the end of a service life, an increase in internal resistance, or an internal short-circuit failure may occur. Chargers and charging circuits should therefore be designed to ensure safety in event of heat generated due to cell failure at the end of a service life.

When the internal pressure of these cells rises due to overcharge, short-circuiting, reverse charge or abuse or misuse, the self-resealing safety vent is activated to prevent battery damage.
Nowadays Nickel Metal Hydride offers 40% more capacity than Nickel Cadmium batteries but its decisive advantage is the absence of toxic metals.

2. Preparation and battery pack production
After the cell determination the next step is to make a proper battery model which suits the specific Power Tool case. Cells are connected using a spot welding procedure which gives the best and safest connection. We use Nickel alloy tin which gives the best contact characteristics.
3.Final steps in battery pack production
By adding specific connections according to the Power Tool battery model, and placing the battery pack in its case, the battery for Power Tool is completed.
